Dora: Strategy, Regulation and Resilience
November 6, 2024, 9 a.m.
Marriott Grand Hotel
Conference Room D
DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) is a regulatory framework adopted by the European Union, aimed at ensuring digital operational resilience in the financial sector, which will come into effect on January 17, 2025.
DORA will have a significant impact on how financial organizations manage their cybersecurity risks. Management teams need to be proactive in implementing these regulations to ensure not only compliance but also the effective protection of digital assets.
Continuous risks assessment, IT incidents reporting, investment in technology, training employees and manage relations with third parties, are all components of this response to emerging cybersecurity threats.
While these actions strengthen organizations’ overall resilience against digital threats, they also help ensure compliance with DORA.
